Founded in 1997 by Ben and Pam Patterson, Agape House offers a home and school for boys ages 12-16, and girls ages 12-18 who come in hopes of overcoming cyclical abuse through educational, spiritual and emotional support.  Agape House offers a 10-month program led by licensed educators, counselors, house parents and resident assistants to aid in the healing process.  Individualized educational programs for at-risk students based on educational and emotional needs rather than age.

Bloom360 is an innovative learning community serving young people ages 5-21+ with neurodiverse needs. Bloom360 nurtures each Learner’s strengths, cultivates positive relationships, and focuses on social-emotional learning through hands-on projects. There are two program options: Day School and the Roots Program. The staff includes occupational therapists, specially-trained educators, a full-time music therapist, and a social worker.

Community Action was founded in 1965 as part of Lyndon Johnson’s “War on Poverty” initiatives.  Their focus has always been to prevent and reduce poverty in local communities.  The agency provides over 20 anti-poverty programs and services for individuals and families ranging from childcare to affordable housing, emergency shelter, weatherization, health care and education, and employment and training programs.

4-C is part of a network of accredited, non-profit Wisconsin Child Care Resource & Referral agencies providing advocacy and support services for child care in an 11 county region. 

4-C programs provide a broad range of services to families, early childhood professionals, and the community through three general program categories including Family Support Services, Health and Safety Services and Training and Quality Improvement Services. Collectively these programs strive to carry out the 4-C mission to ensure that every child has access to high quality early care and education through integrated support and expertise.

DFCI works to identify, cultivate, and continually support champions in local neighborhoods to enable and equip leaders to develop strategies to achieve dementia friendly communities. DFCI increases awareness by providing free education programs for business’, organizations, groups and individuals, as a resource, for all things dementia and provides inclusive programs and activities to foster respect, compassion & support. Formed in 1977, the Geneva Lake Conservancy is an accredited land trust with the mission of preserving and advocating for Walworth County’s natural areas, waterways and working lands. The Conservancy maintains four public preserves for outdoor recreation, including the Helen Rohner Children’s Fishing Park, the Hansen Preserve, Hermansen Woods and Bromley Woods.

Kettle Moraine Land Trust preserves the natural heritage of Walworth County and its environs through collaborative conservation and environmental stewardship. The nationally accredited trust owns four nature preserves, holds conservation easements on additional properties, and assists with the restoration and management of publicly held natural areas. KMLT also conducts High School Field Days to engage area students in conservation projects.

Seeds of Hope provides an inclusive and safe environment for adults with developmental disabilities, including almost one hundred individuals on a monthly basis. Day programming activities include projects focusing on horticulture and culinary skills, participation in community outings, educational opportunities and physical activity. Seeds of Hope can also be found at community events helping local farmers, schools and small businesses.

SMILES provides equine assisted activities and therapies such as therapeutic horseback riding as well as unmounted activities for children and adults with disabilities. Services are available to anyone four years and older regardless of the type of disability.  SMILES is always in need of volunteers to help lead horses and sidewalk in classes. The minimum age to volunteer is 15. All training is provided, and no horse experience is required.
